In dieser Klasse werden wir Drupal 9 und die Änderungen in der Zukunft des Drupal-Projekts hervorheben. Es ist jedoch wichtig zu beachten, dass die neuesten Versionen von Drupal 8 und Drupal 9 ab sofort grundsätzlich identisch sind!

Wir verwenden Drupal 8 im Unterricht, da man damit genau die gleiche Erfahrung wie mit Drupal 9 hat und die Installation derzeit erheblich einfacher ist. (Sie können dieser Dokumentation folgen, um Drupal 9 mit Composer zu installieren. Ich empfehle es jedoch nur, wenn Sie bereit sind, sich einer Herausforderung zu stellen.)

Anmerkung von mir: 

Die Installation von D9 habe ich ja hinbekommen (ok, ohne Composer bisher), aber jetzt sitze ich schon Stunden um Paragraphen aufzubauen. ich liebe sie, aber bei Drupal 8 hat Werner die aufgebaut, weil ich mich bisher wenig mit Drupal 8 beschäftigt habe.

Migrating directly from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 is supported with the core

In this class, we will be highlighting Drupal 9 and the changes to the future of the Drupal project. But it’s important to note that as of right now, the latest version of Drupal 8 and Drupal 9 are basically identical! 

We’re using Drupal 8 in class because it has exactly the same experience as Drupal 9 and it’s significantly easier to install right now. (You could follow this documentation to install Drupal 9 with Composer, but I don’t recommend it unless you’re up for a challenge.)
